In a documentary episode called Ross Kemp War on Gangs we realized what kind of conditions people have to live in, even in a rich city like Los Angeles. But what caught our attention the most was how much gang activity is in the area and how the residents group up after ethnicity to survive. So we decided to take a better look and get to know better the life in Compton; a small part of downtown LA that regardless of its size has one of the biggest gang problems in the world. To that an idea of a research project came up; how do different races evolve together in the same society.
We have researched people’s education, how it evolves together with the life in the “ghetto” as well their way of life.
